The amount of music per side of a recording varies depending on the content.
Basically, a shorter record produces louder volume and more bass can be heard. Longer times per side will result in a decrease in sound quality.<\/p>

Here is a guideline:
12″ LP (33 1\/3 RPM)<\/strong>
OPTIMAL: 13 \/ 15 minutes per side
MAXIMUM: 23 minutes per side<\/p>

12″ Single or EP (45 RPM)<\/strong>
OPTIMAL: 10 minutes per side

First, make sure you have your audio mastered for vinyl. If not, we will direct you to our mastering partners to have your music prepared for the best audio quality. For vinyl cutting, please send the vinyl master as a WAV or AIFF in the native resolution in which the project was mastered.<\/p>

The album should be delivered as one audio file per side with a marker indicating the start and duration of each track. We will give you a form to fill out, which will be very useful for all partners working on your project.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

What you hear when playing your test pressings is what you\u2019ll hear on the final pressed copies, so listen to them carefully upon arrival. When you receive your test pressings, they’ll come with a list of things for you to check;<\/p>

\u2022 Sound quality
\u2022 Catalog \/ Selection number etched into lead-out groove correctly
\u2022 The A\/B side inscriptions in the run-out groove matches the side splits on your track listing
\u2022 The songs are in the correct order
\u2022 The rotation speed (RPM) is correct
\u2022 Are there any loud pops, ticks or other annoying sound issues, and are they present on all copies? If not, you do not have to worry about it.<\/p>

All 12\u201d test pressings are pressed on black vinyl with an average weight of 160 grams. Your final order will be pressed on the color and weight requested on your purchase order.

Black vinyl will always sound the best; they’re a classic for a reason. Additives are added to the colored vinyls, which can result in some additional noise. Rest reassured though that you vinyls will always sound incredibly good no matter what. So if you want that unique color for your album or for a limited-edition, never hesitate.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

We can do pretty much every color you think of, as well as multiple effect options, such as swirl, marble, splatter, etc. Keep in mind that high-contrast colors will look better when paired together, but that soft contrasts can also give a subtle yet noticeable visual identity to your records. The special effects, a.k.a patterns, on a vinyl are made by hand, one by one. While we always strive to replicate the same thing over and over again, there will be slight variations from one to another; but we believe this makes each and every one of them very unique, and absolutely love this aspect of the creation!<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Generally speaking, if you choose a plain color, yes. But this depend on your screen accuracy, too. As for custom color blends and special effects, there may be a slight variation from one to another. We follow strict recipes for all our custom colors, it changes lightly from one vinyl to another.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Several colors are pressed on the same machines day in and day out. While we purge the machines to minimize the risk of the previous production to transfer unto yours, it is still a small risk. We recommend the process for light solid colors, like white or clear. Yes, we do create custom colors. There might be a slight swirl effect due to the mix of different colors used to obtain the exact color that you want, however.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

We love the splatter effect, but it indeed comes in many shapes and forms. While you fill out the custom form, feel free to let us know if you want light splatter, medium, or heavy. Because vinyl manufacturing is a process that can result in occasional defects, we will always press 10% more than the quantity ordered in an effort to produce as many perfect records as possible.<\/p>

Any final quantity within this +\/- 10% range constitutes a complete order and will be invoiced at that quantity. Overruns for all printed materials (jackets, inserts, printed interiors, etc.) work the same way and we will ship them to you with your final order, so you may have the opportunity to create some special and unique packages for more variety!<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
